A Big Investment

Well classes didn't start yet and I have to say a lot of things.  I have come to the realization that college is more than just the 'best years' of a person's life.  College is like an investment.  College is like buying a house.  Most freshman doesn't think this way entering into college because, they don't know what it is like to buy a house, or even make an investment.  Sure, a variety of students may have sacrificed time for different activities and volunteer work, but very few children (who goes to college) knows the true definition of making an investment.  Making an investment can go two ways.  It can either make a person rich, or it can cause a person to lose everything.  It depends on what precautions an individual would take before he or she makes the investment.  So entering college year may be terrifying for some freshmen, but always remember, college is more than the 'best years' of a person's life.  College  is an experience that will change most individuals' lives, whether it's for better or worse.  When you find yourself in a sticky situation, always remember you're there for yourself and not for others because they don't pay for your tuition.

Response: Social Networks Pt. 1

Welcome To the Social Network... I Mean Social Networks Pt.1

Well @Chris_sez  bring up a good point in this entry. Social networks are on the rise today. I believe that they are only on the rise (especially facebook) because of their user interface. Facebook is convenient, and easy to use. I believe that myspace went down the drain because it wasn't as personal, and everything wasn't the same or neutral. Joining a network on myspace(school, company, college, etc.) was an option. I believe on facebook it's mandatory to join a network when you first join. Not only that, for some networks, you have to go through some verification process in order to make it show up on your profile. Even companies are using facebook in order to connect with their employees. Not only that but stores are on facebook in order to promote sales. Twitter is easy to update and facebook helps people connect with others at a faster rate. Myspace tumbled down the totem pole because in order for things to look 'pleasing', people had to put out effort in order for their profiles to look nice and effort is one thing people are afraid of today for some reason. People have to cater to the 'laziness' today because people will pay top dollar for it

A sigh of relief

I have been seriously busy lately and things are starting to calm down.  I am also going through a lot of drama in my life but I'm handling that.  Now I am writing everything down.  I desperately need a planner for 2012.  Yes I am thinking that far ahead thank you!! On another note, I am starting to write up here probably reviews on anime/manga since I love them so much.  Not only that, but I will mention things about video games, leisure readings, and maybe have an entire section on about college life too. Big ideas here, very big ideas.  Must plan everything out first though.
