Embracing Time

Embracing Time
Soaring through the sky, with wings spread out wide
Piercing through the winds and spiraling over the shore tides
Landing on the ground, the trees speak to you
Translating the many possibilities you can do
The sun is always held up high above the frosted mountain tops
But sometimes you have to face the foul ground and clean it up with a mop
Laziness may fill the air, but time doesn't stop
Slow as a snail you may be, your bubble will certainly pop
Frustrated, you mend things back together like
Putting the chain back on your brother's bike
Then you spread out your wings again and soar the skies
Passing by white puffy clouds that floats aimlessly and only sighs
You can fly high, as long as the river flows
Breathing in the fresh baking smells, and this only shows
The many possibilities you can do
Remembering the old wise oak tree told this to you
Rain may fall, and knives may pierce you heart every now and then
Only to leave regrets and having frightening nightmares about your sins
Soon your wings are wilted and old and you can not fly
Having your closes friends suck all your breath away leaving you to die
Apathetically, burying you with all the others
But time does not stop and your friends move onto your brothers
Only to watch them fly high
Soaring through the sky
With their wings spread out wide
And to one day have a chance to watch them die
