Anime: Persona 4

Apparently, there is going to be a Persona 4 anime.  Personally, I did not like the original Persona anime.  I didn't like the way it ended.  The entire anime had a fantastic story line, but the ending was a little dry.  Not only that, but I was never able to finish the Persona 3 video game.  I bought one of the original Persona 3 video games and played it for a bit.  I had to restart it because my friend accidentally erased my save data.  After restarting, I came to the realization that the video wasn't that great to begin with.  I almost finished the game, but I lost all inspiration/motivation to finish it.  Persona 3 is a fantastic game to play when your bored.  Here is the golden question: Even though I wasn't a fan of the video game (Persona 3) and the anime (Persona) should I (feel obligated to)watch the new anime series Persona 4?
